Our farming methods

Regenerative agriculture isn’t a trendy term for us - it's the reason our food tastes and nourishes the way it does.

Here's how we raise each animal, and what that means for your plate.

Pork

Heritage breed pork - Pasture-raised

Our heritage pigs enjoy a chemical-free diet, and roam freely behind movable electric fencing, exploring fresh paddocks and rooting in the soil as nature intended. We rotate them regularly through the land - their natural digging and foraging behaviour is an active part of how we turnover and regenerate the pasture on our farm.

Our pigs are a heritage breed prized for their fat marbling and depth of flavour - the result is pork with a richness and tenderness that modern commercial breeds (bred to grow as quickly as possible in unnatural environments) simply can't match.  You'll notice the difference in the fat especially, which renders beautifully rather than cooking away to nothing.

Studies have shown that pork from healthy, happy pasture-raised heritage pigs packs in more Omega-3 and fat-soluble vitamins.

Beef

100% grass-fed  - Regenerative rotational grazing

Our cattle are raised entirely on pasture in a stress-free, chemical-free environment. They graze a diverse mix of grasses and legumes, with free-choice access to natural mineral supplements like salt, kelp, cobalt, copper sulphate, bicarb, sulphur, along with many others depending on the season to keep them thriving.

We use regenerative rotational grazing, moving the herd regularly to allow pastures to recover and rebuild soil health. This slow, unhurried approach takes more time, but the difference in the beef is real:tender meat, full of flavour that develops when animals are given space and clean, vibrant pasture.

No antibiotics, sprays, grain-feeding or chemical residues - just clean protein you can feel good about feeding your family.

Eggs

Pasture-raised from happy hens

Our hens have unrestricted daytime access to lush, diverse pastures where they spend their days doing what chickens love - foraging for bugs, scratching in the soil, and dust-bathing in the sun. No cages, no crowding, no shortcuts.

We supplement their foraging with a sustainable, soy-free grain blend formulated to meet their nutritional needs while supporting soil health and biodiversity. The result is raved-about eggs with the kind of deep golden yolks that tell you everything you need to know.
